Review: Demon in the Wood by Leigh Bardugo (Spoiler-Free)

I always know there will be one going in, but I can never keep myself from falling for it. Damn it, Leigh, you got me with that plot twist again! You also got me to want to read more graphic novels. The past graphic novels I've read have always left me feeling a lack of personal connection. I always felt like I just couldn't connect to that medium on the same level as prose. And maybe this was an exception because I already knew the characters, but it's made me want to try out some more.

Anyway, I don't want to say much here because this book requires you to have already read an entire series to appreciate it. It's just a great backstory for The Darkling and makes me even more excited for season 2 of Shadow & Bone!

P.S. the art was STUNNING. Seriously. Like I want some of it as an art print. So gorgeous.
